This project is a tourism website. The purpose of this website is to promote my hometown Changchun and to be able to let more people know about the city. To show them real pictures and videos so that they can see the real city of spring. Because of this mentality I chose to create a website project. now covid-19 is a thing of the past, the website could have a larger audience. It allows people from all over the world to come to Changchun to experience the scenery and the food . This website could also increase the interaction between the users and the website.   In the current Internet age, people of all ages go to the Internet to browse through things. This website is not just for young people, but also for the middle-aged and elderly. This website allows users to visually see all the sights and cuisines, and to view what interests them by clicking on the page they want to view.  The biggest change is in the Attractions module. I have made all the images at the bottom of the page clickable to jump to the appropriate page. Previously the images at the bottom were not clickable and most of the attractions were on one page, now I have split the previous pages. This way it gives the user a better experience. The next step was to debug some image scale issues and add some content. After that I added the background pattern as well, which can match the logo.

  Designer modifications: 1. looks too empty 2. Attractions page made to jump directly to individual pages by clicking on the attractions. Remove more. 3. Attractions: secondary page header to primary page header. 4. Food pages are pulled out horizontally. The top header image should be wider than the content area. 5. Add texture to the background of the whole site (use the Spring City logo). 6. Add bottom colour block to the navigation, adjust transparency, expand the size of the header image, and place the navigation above the header image. 7.   I went to see my tutor on 24 April to discuss my work. There are some obvious shortcomings, such as the content is low, some images could be changed to link mode, etc. There is some content that has been done but not put in, so the next step will be to speed up the process and put it all in. Then we will revise it according to what the tutor has said.

 

 

 Made the website in wix and put some of the current material and copy into it. Will put in videos and contact details etc later.

 When hovering the mouse over a navigation bar. A tourist attraction, for example, will have a design of my own on it, a design that matches my logo.

 A pop-up window was designed with my contact details. A QR code is included to allow users to scan the QR code to access my website.
